Food Bank Offering

Each Sunday, the Hosts of the 8:45 a.m. service will take up a second offering for the San Marcos Area Food Bank. Please bring one item each Sundayday of non-perishable food that can be distributed by the Food Bank.

The third Sundayday of the month is sometimes referred to as “Hunger Sundayday.” Persons living on a low, fixed income frequently run out of money and food stamps by this time of the month. If each of us can give one non-perishable item each Sundayday, our young Hosts will be able to deliver to the Food Bank sizable amounts of food that help relieve some of the need.

Remember, this week, someone will run out of food stamps and money for food. Help us fill the grocery cart!
