Stations - Report 2002

(In the rush of moving our site from
its old location and getting it set
up in the new one, we forgot to make
provision for a report. So, here's
still the one from last year and we'll
remember to do better next year.)

Dear friends:

God has truly blessed your efforts at Stations of the Cross this year. The figures showed about 516 people signed in on the visitor's log. Factoring in about 10% for those who didn't sign in, we estimate over 550 people experienced walking the stations. There were 24 Texas cities outside of San Marcos represented, along with 8 from out of state and 2 foreign countries. Church affiliations were not tabulated because there were not enough responses, but the four sponsoring churches were well represented, as well as many repeating churches from other cities.

Visitors came from the following cities: San Marcos, New Braunfels, San Antonio, Canyon Lake, Kyle, Austin, Spring Branch, Buda, Maxwell, Cedar Park, Ft. Worth, Manchaca, Lockhart, Bellville, Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Seguin, Houston, Fischer, Martindale, Cedar Creek, Corpus Christi, Granbury, and Brownsville. Out of state visitors came from: Laurel, MD; Roswell, NM; Cedar Rapids, IA; Des Moines, IA; Johns Island, NC; Circle Clayton, NC; Leavenworth, KS; and Ellison Bay, WI. And the "prize" for traveling the farthest goes to our friends from Heidelsheim, Germany; and Goiania, Brazil!

Comments will be posted on the web site under a special category, but one comment deserves mention: A young man wrote, "I was saved here this day [Good Friday] last year. Thank you." Praise God!

Grace and peace to you all,
Scotty Fisher
